Pokimane posted a YouTube video on October 4 in which she speaks openly to her audience about her health and different changes that she’s making to her routine beyond Twitch livestreaming. Earlier this year, Pokimane opened up about feeling depressed after hate raids from JiDion’s community, and her adoption of meditation may help her offset some of this trauma. Among the other things that Pokimane discussed in her recent YouTube upload are how she got prescribed “fake teeth” and how they’re supposed to benefit the popular Twitch streamer.

In a video called “I’m making changes,” Twitch’s Pokimane spoke candidly about negative habits that she has picked up, and she’s decided to start eating more healthy foods, exercising in a variety of ways, and “hot girl walks.” One of the positive steps that Pokimane has taken regards her health as she noticed a ringing in her ear about a month ago that caused her grief. After some failed attempts, a TMJ specialist speculated that Pokimane had tinnitus caused by inflammation in her jaw on the side that’s affecting the ear, and they prescribed what the popular Twitch streamer calls fake teeth.
According to Pokimane, her fake teeth, which are removable, are able to correct the alignment of her teeth and jaw, but she’s still monitoring things as part of a trial phase. Although she has noted some face pains as a result of her fake teeth, Pokimane suggested that if things improve, the next steps may be to use Invisalign or braces to adjust her jaw and possibly stop the ringing in her ear. Pokimane’s video also included vlog content of meditating, journaling, walking in Beverly Hills park, and attending a farmer’s market event where the popular Twitch streamer picks out ingredients for dinner.
Many Pokimane fans have taken to her YouTube update video to express their enthusiasm for her cozy and fun approach to vlogging compared to other versions of the content. Multiple YouTube replies praise Pokimane’s focus on self-improvement, and there are countless words of encouragement from her community which sometimes overlap between her YouTube and Twitch audiences.
