There are only a few days left until the official release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The Pokemon Company’s marketing campaigns are already at full throttle with advertisements and collaboration announcements. The company has already shared that there will be celebratory events in other titles like Pokemon Unite and Splatoon 3’s Splatfest, while big marketing efforts like 3D billboards in Tokyo are heavily emphasizing the game’s three starter Pokemon. So it is not surprising that new toys themed after Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be made available to the public on launch day.

According to the official Japanese Pokemon website, the five new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet plush toys will be available on November 18, 2022. The plushies of the Gen 9 starters Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito will apparently be life-sized, though the website has not shared any official measurements yet. These are also different from the ones being sold by the North America Pokemon Center last August 2022. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters stuffed toys will cost around 5,500 yen or around $40 USD, outside of shipping rates.
Nevertheless, it is likely that these Pokemon Scarlet and Violet plush toys will add to the community’s excitement for the game’s launch. As with most official merchandise in Japan, these are likely to sell out during their release day. Hopefully some fans will still be able to get their hands on these cute stuffed toy versions of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s starter and legendary Pokemon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release on November 18 on Switch.
