It makes perfect sense for Ancient forms to be exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet and Future forms to be exclusive to Pokemon Violet, yet with so little information currently out about the game, it’s hard to say what these Pokemon are exactly. Indeed, in terms of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet exclusives, all that’s really known are the different professors and a handful of Pokemon like Stonjourner and Eiscue.

Now, one recent leak seems to paint the picture that these forms are exclusive, as easily predicted, but goes on to detail exactly which Ancient forms and exactly which Future forms players can encounter. This information has been aggregated by CentroLeaks but seemingly comes from Riddler Khu, who has gotten a number of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks right. It should still be taken with a grain of salt.

Either way, according to these leaks, there are seven Ancient forms in Scarlet and seven Future forms in Violet, not counting the legendary Koraidon and Miraidon (who are supposedly Paradox Pokemon of a base bicycle Pokemon). This also does not count Suicune and Virizion, which are said to be in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC as Paradox Pokemon. Here are the Paradox Pokemon and which games they are said to be exclusive to:

Pokemon Scarlet Version Exclusives - Ancient Forms

Donphan Volcarona Amoonguss Magnezone Salamence Jigglypuff Misdreavus

Pokemon Violet Version Exclusives - Future Forms

Donphan Volcarona Gallade Hariyama Goodra (Uncertain) Tyranitar Delibird

What’s interesting is how Donphan and Volcarona are said to appear in both games, of course though with Pokemon Scarlet getting Ancient Donphan and Volcarona and Pokemon Violet getting Future Donphan and Future Volcarona. Each game also gets a Paradox Pokemon based on a Pseudolegendary, with Ancient Salamence and Future Tyranitar likely being extremely powerful additions to any team. Of course, this still may not be enough for some fans to decide which game to pre-order, especially with this being unofficial information, but hopefully Game Freak and The Pokemon Company see fit to reveal these Paradox Pokemon soon enough. Who knows, perhaps there’s even more than this leak would suggest.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
