Fakemon, as they are called, are nothing new to the fanbase, as there are plenty of general fake Pokemon, fake regions, fake mega evolutions, and far more out there. However, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Paradox forms give fans new ways to revisit fan favorites or Pokemon that perhaps could use a little improvement. One of the most recent and arguably most impressive is a Paradox Inteleon (the water starter from Pokemon Sword and Shield), as designed by Twitter user Onduregion.

Inteleon is a water starter based on spies and chameleons (intelligence + chameleon being the amalgamation for its name), and while its line had promise, many were upset when it ended up being a pure water type, even maintaining this in its Gigantamax form. Onduregion imagines its Paradox form as a Water/Psychic renamed Iron Stealth, making it a future Paradox form from Pokemon Violet. What’s perhaps most interesting is how the Twitter user cites “futuristic” advancements like Iron Man’s suit and futuristic stealth operator suits for Iron Stealth’s design.

The result is a beautiful Paradox Pokemon whose body is more stylized but otherwise retains the same markers as the OG Pokemon, with it looking more like a stealth water suit now than before. The crystalline casque is a beautiful addition, but its robotic head has a visor akin to Iron Man’s UI Display in the early MCU movies. This UI also manages to highlight its Chameleon eye in an interesting way, with Onduregion also going so far as to imagine a green, purple, and black shiny Version that is arguably better than any shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

As fans continue with these fakemon, they should be aware that more Paradox Pokemon are on the horizon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC are likely to include new forms of these Paradox Pokemon, with Paradox Suicune and Virizion having leaked online prior to release. It remains to be seen, but fans will no doubt have plenty of fun in the meantime.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
