At the beginning of the second trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, two new professors were introduced. Sada is the professor that will appear in Pokemon Scarlet, and Turo is the one that players can interact with in Pokemon Violet. Due to their character designs, a lot of fans instantly liked them, with some even making their own fan art featuring them.

A Reddit user named Able-Anything-6074 made a statue of Professor Turo and posted five images of it online, each revealing a different perspective of their creation. The statue shows the upcoming Pokemon character glaring to his right with a mischievous smirk on his face while holding a Poke Ball in his left hand. A lot of other fans that are highly anticipating Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have liked the statue that Able-Anything-6074 made, giving their compliments to the artist.
This is far from the first statue that Able-Anything-6074 has created and uploaded online. They have recently also made statues of the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with a Korok beside it, Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, and chibi versions of various characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Another Reddit user, iWentRogue, suggested that Able-Anything-6074 should make a statue of Professor Sada as well, which others have agreed with, so perhaps that will be Able-Anything-6074’s next creation.
Pokemon Violet’s Professor Turo has quickly become one of the most popular professors in the Pokemon franchise, not only for his character design but also for the memes that fans have been making about him. Many other talented and creative Pokemon fans will likely be inspired to start more projects featuring Professor Turo over time, with this statue being one of the first fan-made creations of him.
2022 is shaping up to be a great year for Pokemon fans, with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet coming out just over four months from now. In addition, the popular Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released at the end of January, and episodes from both the main anime and the new spin-off, Pokemon: Hisuian Snow, have been coming out throughout the year.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will come out on Nintendo Switch on November 18.
