The hand of Harjit Singh, an assistant sub inspector for the Punjab police, was chopped off while he patrolled outside a vegetable market in Patiala, a city in northwestern India. While patrolling the area, a truck carrying seven men, who belong to the Sikh minority warrior sect known as the Nihangs, were stopped at a barricade. When the men in the truck were asked for valid travel passes, one of them pulled out a sword and chopped Singh’s hand off....

This is a fun feature that adds more immersion to the game, and it’s also essential for Bramblin, Rellor, and Pawmo to evolve. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Pawmo only evolves into Pawmot after 1000 steps using the Let’s Go mechanic, so players have to have their Pawmo follow them around for quite a bit in order to unlock the final evolution....

The nephew of Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly was arrested Sunday in Buffalo, N.Y., after an incident at a local bar, The Buffalo News reported. According to the police report, the 20-year-old Kelly punched a bouncer in the face and later said he was “going to go to my car and get my AK-47 and spray this place.” The News reported that police pulled Kelly from that vehicle, a Ford F-150 pickup, and took him, kicking, screaming and swinging, into custody....

The incident occurred moments after a Volkswagen sedan pushed through a group of protesters on bikes on the Brooklyn Bridge at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, a spokesman for the New York Police Department told Newsweek. The spokesman said when the vehicle attempted to move through the traffic, a cyclist jumped onto the hood of the vehicle. The Volkswagen then sped off with the man on the hood. Police couldn’t say how fast the vehicle was going, but said the matter remains under investigation....
