A staple of the series so far has been introducing Pokemon species that are exclusive to one of the two versions of the games, which makes it desirable to have friends who can trade the remaining creatures - or even purchase both versions, marketing-wise. In terms of gameplay, this is a cool feature that allows each game to have its own unique identity because even a version can differ from the other in terms of theme and setting, even if only a little....

Pokedex entries are often used as a way for players to learn something about all the Pokemon in the games, both new and old, and they are an interesting source of storytelling – one that uses detailed descriptions to demonstrate what sort of abilities Pokemon really have. However, not all Pokedex entries in the series so far have fully made sense, and some of them seem even contradictory when it comes to the actual capabilities of a given critter, which is something that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet should change for the better....

There are not a lot of these Pokemon in Gen 9, however, and they only take up to four spaces in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Pokedex, with them being two different evolution lines based on Gen 1 critters. NeoGAF user Watch Da Birdie uncovered a couple of new trademarks pertaining to what is believed to be the names of two new Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon creatures: Solgaleo and Lunaala. Judging by the names, it appears that they correspond to the Sun and Moon theme, with Solgaleo being the likely mascot for Pokemon Sun and Lunaala being the mascot for Pokemon Moon. Based on the “leo” at the end of Solgaleo, this suggests that the new creatures may also be lion-themed, potentially making them the first legendary lion Pokemon since Entei....

So, since Pokemon Sun and Moon have arguably rejuvenated the game franchise once more, it seems as if the modding community has decided to capitalize on their popularity by modding the character Lillie and the Psychic-type Legendary creature Cosmog into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Now instead of the two taking a more peaceful approach to training in order to become more adept with their skills in the Pokemon universe, Lillie and Cosmog are a forced to be reckoned with on the Smash circuit....

One of the new characters that players will meet is the Mayor of Freezington, the main town in the Crown Tundra. Dracovish isn’t too exciting of a Pokemon at first glance. The majority of its move-set isn’t great, especially due to a lack of great Dragon-type moves. Dracovish has Fishious Rend, a pun based on the Fossilized Fish item required to create Dracovish. Pokken Tournament is a fighting game developed by Bandai Namco. It takes some elements from the Tekken fighting game series and uses characters from the Pokemon series as the fighters. As many know, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are open-world games featuring three major storylines.
