The man in question is a 25 year old nursing care worker who apparently sent the threatening email to Square Enix’s headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. According to the news outlet The Yomirui Shimbun, the email reads, “Square Enix Staff, tomorrow I’m going to kill you. Purify your heads!” Although the concluding phrase of the email might be unusual for people in the west, it is widely considered as a classic death threat in Japan....

It was understood the language used was allegedly anti-Semitic. “Police have arrested a 17 year old male for a racially aggravated public order offence at tonight’s @SpursOfficial v @ChelseaFC,” said a statement from the Met Police’s Football Unit on Twitter. “The male is currently being dealt with at a North London police station.” The arrest took place at approximately 7.40pm local time (1940 GMT), some 20 minutes before kick-off....

After being called to an area of Oklahoma City for a complaint about illegal dumping, Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office deputies found hundreds of empty packages worth more than $15,000. The discovery of a receipt from a local store led deputies to a home, where they found hundreds of undelivered packages and arrested three people for possessing stolen property. When officers arrived at the home, they found packages being stored in almost every room and filling the storm shelter, according to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office....

On Thursday night, Pershing County deputies were called to a medical tent at Burning Man where Billingham was declared dead. His body was transported to the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner for an official autopsy. “The scene was secured to be investigated and a Deputy Coroner transported the decedent to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy,” the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. Local authorities have not released information on the manner of death but said Billingham’s death “remains under investigation as suspicious....

Greenville Police retrieved the pile of packages after a Good Samaritan spotted a delivery driver throwing the boxes away on December 6. The driver, Dontrell Weaver, was later charged with larceny by employee and littering, according to police. A statement shared to the Greenville Police’s Facebook page, on Tuesday, revealed a woman spied some “suspicious activity” on E. 10th Street, behind 33 East Apartments. When cops arrived they found a huge pile of boxes, unceremoniously dumped just before Christmas, intended for more than 70 different locations....
